Pastor Doc has been teaching on revival for several weeks. A few weeks ago,R.T. Kendall spoke at The Chapel and he said the best book he's written was "Did You Think To Pray ?". In the fourth chapter "Why Read The Bible ?", Kendall talks about Bible studies some can be alive (in season) or boring (out of season). He quotes 2 TIM 4:2, " Be prepared in season and out of season". When the (HOLY) Spirit of revival comes down on the Church, whom would he choose as "sovereign instruments" of revival? Kendall said " He believes it will those who took the time to read, listen to teaching, and learn when it seemed so uninteresting'. I found some subjects more interesting and others most difficult. Research, is the answer. Research makes the boring come alive. I pray the day the Spirit comes down we will be that "Sovereign instrument" God bless!!

The Apostles were with Jesus taking in everything He said. They were being prepared for what would come after His death and resurection. We could be the generation that has the greatest impact on the lost. As you study keep this in mind. Look for opportunities to share what you learn. Matt 28:19,20.. make disciples... teaching...amen!!

Dr. Keyser...I am going to try and keep up with the blog. However, I am now having to take care of my mom and nephew. Over the past weekend my Mom broke both of her legs. She had knee replacements in both knees and when she fell the rods from the knee replacements broke the femur bones in her legs. She has custody of my nephew so, now I am going to be his primary caregiver for a while. So, after I finish the course I am taking...I will be taking a break until the next semester. Please keep our family in your prayers. Have a blessed day!

Some good news about the Counseling required course in the General curriculum: all you have to do is take the Temperament evaluation then read and report on this book Created In God’s Image; A Course In Human Behavior; A Christian Perspective, Arno, Richard Gene & Arno, Phyllis Jean, 1998, 225 pp. This is much simplier and it can be done in self study with whatever coaching you might need from me or Martha. Also, the extra expense is much lower, about $65. Blessings, David
